These Terms and Conditions for Directory Listings (“Listing Terms”) apply specifically to the business directory and place listings (including maps, addresses, categories, descriptions, contact details, and related features) available on Professional Business Directory at https://professionalbusinessdirectory.com (the “Site”). They supplement — and do not replace — our general Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Global Disclaimer. If there is a conflict between these Listing Terms and the Terms of Use regarding directory listings, these Listing Terms control for that subject matter only.

1. Scope of Directory Listings

The Site may display business listings (“Listings” or “Places”) compiled from public sources, partner data, submissions, editorial research, or automated imports. Listings are provided to help users discover and compare businesses and services. They are not a complete registry of all businesses in any geographic area, industry, or category, and the absence of a Listing does not imply that a business is unsuitable or unlicensed.

2. No Endorsement or Agency

Inclusion of a business in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, referral, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between Professional Business Directory and that business, its owners, or its employees. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, licensing status, or suitability of any listed business for your needs. You are solely responsible for vetting any business before engaging services, making purchases, or sharing personal information.

3. Accuracy of Listing Information

Listing details (names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, hours, categories, descriptions, and similar fields) may be incomplete, outdated, or supplied by third parties. Professional Business Directory strives to maintain reasonable accuracy but does not warrant that any Listing is current, complete, or error-free. Businesses change locations, ownership, contact information, and offerings without notice. Always verify critical information directly with the business or through official regulators before relying on it.

4. Maps and Location Data

Map displays, coordinates, and driving directions (where provided) are for general reference only. They may rely on third-party mapping services and geocoding. Professional Business Directory is not responsible for routing errors, construction, road closures, or discrepancies between map data and on-the-ground conditions.

5. Reviews, Ratings, and User Content

If the Site allows reviews, ratings, photos, or other user-submitted content associated with Listings, such content reflects the opinions of the submitting users and not necessarily the views of Professional Business Directory. User content is governed by the Terms of Use (including the User-Generated Content section). We may moderate or remove content that violates those Terms or these Listing Terms, but we are under no obligation to monitor all submissions.

6. Business Claims, Corrections, and Removal Requests

If you represent a listed business and believe information is inaccurate, misleading, or should be updated or removed, contact us at [email protected] or via our contact page. Include the Listing URL, the fields to correct, and documentation showing your authority to act for the business where applicable. We will review good-faith requests in a reasonable time but reserve the right to verify claims, retain archival or legal records, and decline requests that are fraudulent, abusive, or contrary to law. 7. Prohibited Use of Directory Features

Without limiting the Terms of Use, you agree not to use Listings or directory data to: (a) send unsolicited bulk communications or spam; (b) harass businesses or individuals; (c) scrape, harvest, or systematically extract Listing data for competing directories or resale without our written permission; (d) submit false, defamatory, or fraudulent Listings or reviews; or (e) violate any applicable law or regulation. We may suspend access or remove content that breaches these rules.

8. Trademarks and Third-Party Rights

Business names, logos, and trademarks displayed in Listings generally belong to their respective owners. Display in the directory is for identification and informational purposes only and does not grant you any license to use those marks. 9. Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability

Listings and directory features are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Professional Business Directory and its owners, affiliates, contributors, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on Listings, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or disputes between you and any listed business. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. 10. Privacy and Listing Data

Information you submit in connection with Listings (for example, when claiming a business or leaving a review) may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy. Public portions of Listings may appear in search engines or third-party services that index the Site.

11. Changes to These Listing Terms

We may update these Listing Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when we do. Continued use of the directory after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Listing Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
